I've created this site for my students.  There are resources here to help you in your journey as a musician.

We are in our seventh year of teaching guitar and bass here in the Okanagan.  We are now better equipped to help you develop into the musician that you want to be.

This year we have jumped on board with the Music Shoppe. Rick has opened up the new Music Shoppe Education Centre. They will be moving the shop across the street into a new location and converting the old location into the Education Centre. There will be 6 studios and they will be teaching guitar, bass and drums. The Education Centre also provides us a space for us to have student jams and summer camps such as “Rock Band” camps. The idea opened up a whole new potential for our teaching which is why we have joined the Centre and moved the lessons from our home. 

We have been a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors since 2004.  We are able to offer examinations for Accredited certificates through the London College of Music and Media at different levels of skill.  We have had many students succeed at all levels, some with Distinction and many with Merit with the RGT exams.  It is very rewarding.  These certifications will be available for Guitar, Bass, and Music Theory.  Examinations will be available in June 2008 here in Vernon.

We currently offer 2 locations in Vernon and Kelowna.  We are taking students in Kelowna on Monday afternoons and are negotiating to take students at the Vernon Christian School on Mondays and possibly Fridays.  Our price structure for sessions is located on our Tuition page.

Learning to play guitar is exciting and enriching activity. It's also one that requires a commitment to practice and lessons.  I'm sure you'll agree with our philosophy that discipline and persistence are necessary in order to achieve any goal worth achieving.
