Without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists, and that He rewards those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:6) |

Who Am
I?? We live in a world where the influences around us are constantly telling us that we are nothing. Even science has told us that we are a "meaningless conglomeration of molecules, assembled completely by chance. There is no reason for us to exist, and no one is going to care when we are gone." It is interesting that in the same breath we can talk about how we are our own god, and that if we just get in touch with our true inner self, we can make our own decisions about what is right or wrong. And what's more, no one else has the right to impose narrow-minded bigoted moral values on us! That would be wrong. The god-of-the-week is ever changing, and truth seems to be on wheels depending on the need of the moment. (**see footnote) With this in mind, it's good that we can turn to the
Word of the Lord to find out what God's view of us is. Let's face it! He made us, so He ought to
know. I first found a list similar to this
in Neil Anderson's "Bondage Breaker". While not comprehensive, it is certainly
instructive. The next time you feel
like you are a "nothing", get this out and begin to declare the truth
about what your Creator says!
Now this only
scratches the surface of our true identity as believers in Jesus Christ, who is
Maker of Heaven and Earth, Immanuel, who alone is King of Kings and Lord of
Lords. To get the full revelation of
what God thinks about His creation, we need turn to His Word. The scriptures listed above are but a short
sampling of the most awesome book ever written. Deeper reading of the verses there, and the contexts that
surround them, will give insight that will open doors in your mind beyond your
wildest imaginations! Search the
scriptures daily, for in them you will find LIFE and Peace. **for more on this, see THE CHAIR, by Frank Parreti. It is an hour-long video, and well worth watching!
